Edina resident Pacy Erck was born in the late 40’s and lived in the Morningside neighborhood until 1958 when she moved to the Lake Cornelia area. She attended Morningside Elementary, Cornelia Elementary, Southview Junior High and graduated from Edina High School.  She then went on to U-W LaCrosse University,  majoring in Physical Education, Health Education and Psychology.  She began her teaching career at Edina High School in 1972 and taught Health, Physical Education and Driver’s Education. Additionally, she coached Volleyball and the Cheerleaders, having been a cheerleader herself in high school.

An enthusiastic golfer, Pacy spends much time at Braemar Golf Course and considers the staff and other golfers there her other family. Former Mayor of Edina Denny Maetzold first invited Pacy to participate on the Edina Crime Prevention Fund Board of Directors and she found it to be a rewarding way to give back, locally. Pacy currently serves as the Board Chair and remains steadfast in her support of the City and the Edina Fall into the Arts Festival. She claims “There is nothing I would not do for our community and every day I will be a cheerleader for Edina.”

Thank you, Pacy!
