This year’s festival souvenir comes with a creative twist.
Festival-branded tote bags will be available for $15, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Local artist Donte Mearon, the artist behind THROWiNG PAiNT, will be painting and personalizing totes throughout the weekend at no additional cost.
After purchasing your tote, bring it to Donte and watch as he turns it into a one-of-a-kind piece of art right before your eyes.
No two bags will be exactly alike, giving you a festival souvenir made especially for you—and a little piece of original local art to carry long after the weekend is over.

Donte Mearon is a local artist and the creative force behind THROWiNG PAiNT, an art company inspired by the unexpected beauty that emerges when nature and graffiti come together.
Working primarily with acrylic paint on canvas and silkscreen printing on bags and apparel, Donte creates expressive work that blends organic inspiration with the color, energy and spontaneity of street art.
Making art approachable and accessible is an important part of his work. Through THROWiNG PAiNT, Donte has partnered with local businesses, schools and community organizations to create interactive opportunities for people to experience art firsthand. He has also received grants from the Edina Arts Council, including support to build a mobile art cart that gives community members of all experience levels the opportunity to explore printmaking techniques on fabric.
At this year’s Edina Fall Into the Arts Festival, Donte brings that same interactive spirit to The Artsy Tote, creating one-of-a-kind painted festival souvenirs live throughout the weekend.
